Joseph stands as a unique character in the annuals of Biblical history, for two major reasons:
- He was the link between the family of Israel and the nation of Israel. He was connected with the sojourn into Egypt and the birth of the nation.
- The biography of no other man in the Bible reflects so vividly and completely a portrait of our Lord. He was not faultless, but his faults are not recorded.
This study will focus upon this giant for God, and on the many lessons we can learn from him…lessons the Holy Spirit wants applied to our own lives. We will study 101 ways that Joseph was a type of Christ. And we will also briefly consider the role played by his brothers in this moving drama of early history.
